News from this site on October 25, Infineon Technologies announced the completion of the acquisition of Gallium Nitride Systems Company (GaN Systems) on October 24, 2023, and claimed to "become a leading gallium nitride leading company".

Infineon said that the company, headquartered in Ottawa, Canada, brings a rich portfolio of gallium nitride (GaN) power conversion solutions and leading application technology to Infineon.
