Microsoft opens safe co-pilot early access program

Earlier this year, Microsoft first announced Security Copilot, an artificial intelligence-driven security analysis tool that will enable security experts to quickly respond to threats, process signals at machine speed, and Quickly assess risk exposure. Going forward, Microsoft Security Copilot will be in an invitation-only preview. Today, Microsoft announced that the Secure Copilot Early Access program is now open to everyone. In addition to its early access program, Microsoft also announced the following new features coming soon to Security Copilot:

• New Security Copilot embedded in Microsoft 365 Defender, the industry-leading Extended Detection and Response (XDR) platform experience. This new embedded experience helps guide analysts directly with actionable recommendations – all from one unified experience.
• Microsoft Defender Threat Intelligence is now included for free with Security Copilot. Defender Threat Intelligence enables customers to directly access, act on and integrate threat intelligence completed by Microsoft to provide security teams with deeper insights.
