Samsung reportedly partners with Microsoft to develop an AI chatbot for internal work
Artificial intelligence (AI) has begun to set off the wave we are looking forward to, there is no doubt that
Big tech companies like Samsung, Microsoft, and Google are working hard to ensure their artificial intelligence progress and ensure that their devices are powered by artificial intelligence.
According to the latest report from South Korea's "Electronic Daily", Samsung Electronics is collaborating with Microsoft on an internal generative artificial intelligence development project aimed at assisting Samsung's internal work
This tool is currently called the "Samsung Chatbot" and mainly performs tasks such as assisting translation and document summarization.
Samsung Electronics plans to use the application programming interface (API) of large language models (LLM) such as GPT-4 and GPT-3.5 provided by Microsoft Azure OpenAI service to develop the company's internal generative artificial intelligence tools. Currently, the project is in the Proof of Concept (PoC) phase
It should be mentioned that according to an exclusive license agreement signed between Microsoft and OpenAI: OpenAI must operate on Microsoft Azure Cloud; when the OpenAI box also provides services, it must be provided through Azure Cloud.
This also means that if Samsung wants to use OpenAI’s LLM to develop its own generative artificial intelligence, it must use Microsoft’s Azure Cloud, which is equivalent to cooperating with Microsoft.
In addition, it is reported that Samsung Electronics recently applied for the trademarks of "Gauss" and "Gais" to the Patent Office.
Samsung designated “computer software for language and speech processing based on machine learning” and “computer software for natural language processing/generation/understanding/analysis” as trademarked products in its trademark application. Therefore, people will pay close attention to whether these two trademarks will be used for the above-mentioned generative artificial intelligence services

The 2025 Artificial Intelligence Index Report released by the Stanford University Institute for Human-Oriented Artificial Intelligence provides a good overview of the ongoing artificial intelligence revolution. Let’s interpret it in four simple concepts: cognition (understand what is happening), appreciation (seeing benefits), acceptance (face challenges), and responsibility (find our responsibilities). Cognition: Artificial intelligence is everywhere and is developing rapidly We need to be keenly aware of how quickly artificial intelligence is developing and spreading.
