Samsung recently launched a planning and recommendation platform called Samsung Gourmet in 104 countries and regions. The platform is based on Whisk, which Samsung's Next unit acquired in 2019. Samsung said the platform has more than 160,000 recipes. Covering eight languages including English, Spanish, Korean, German, French and Italian (Note on this site: Chinese is not currently supported). Samsung notes that the platform, like Whisk, will allow users to search for recipes, create shopping lists, create meal plans and follow creators who post recipes.
Samsung’s Bespoke range of refrigerators will support the app , users can use it on the refrigerator screen connected to the Internet. The company also plans to use the app to better integrate the Bespoke range of appliances, such as microwaves and ovens, to make the cooking process easier and tailored to specific recipes, and to help users set timers, preheat ovens or change cooking settings on Samsung devices Samsung has also introduced personalization features through “Food AI”. Users can change recipes to be vegetarian or vegan-friendly, balance the nutritional value by swapping out ingredients, or create a fusion dish by requesting a Korean version of an Italian dish
