OpenAI CEO expresses support for EU AI regulation

On June 23, local time, EU industry director Thierry Breton met with Meta CEO Zuckerberg, NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang, and OpenAI CEO Altman in California, USA. Breton said he and Zuckerberg share the same position on EU artificial intelligence regulation and are currently in final negotiations. Breton said they agreed on measures such as watermarks. OpenAI CEO Altman said he also agreed with the EU's approach to artificial intelligence, adding: "I'm really grateful to the European institutions here and the foresight to take this issue so seriously, to the rest of the world. is also like this."
