Hyperion Research released its annual ISC HPC (High Performance Computing) market status update in Hamburg and shared a forecast that over the next five years, the global compound annual growth rate of HPC-enabled artificial intelligence servers will be 22.7%.
Hyperion CEO Earl Joseph predicts that 2023 will be the year of artificial intelligence regulation: “We expect to see strict artificial intelligence regulations mainly in Europe and the United States. Intelligent supervision.” Joseph also predicts that AI will become more common in production-tier deployments due to greater user confidence in its capabilities and ease of use.
Hyperion predicts that HPC cloud revenue is expected to exceed $11 billion by 2026, and artificial intelligence and other data-intensive applications will drive this growth and become the main workloads of cloud computing.
