In addition, Samsung SDI also announced that it will cooperate with Stellantis, the world’s fourth largest vehicle manufacturer, to establish a joint venture battery factory in the same state of Indiana in the United States. The plant is expected to be put into operation in 2025, with an annual production capacity of 23GWh.
