


According to news on June 5, Shuttle (Haoxin) recently released a new personal computer called Shuttle XPC Nano NC40U. Unlike the company's past, which mainly produced computers for home users, many of the models launched this time are more focused on enterprise and industrial applications.
Shuttle XPC Nano NC40U uses the latest 12th generation Intel Alder Lake-U processor, with a power consumption of 15W and a body size of 5.6 inches x 5.6 inches x 1.7 inches (approx. 142.24mm x 142.24mm x 43.18 mm). According to the editor's understanding, the computer system is equipped with Intel Celeron 7305, Core i3-1215U, Core i5-1235U or Core i7-1255U processor, and supports up to 64GB of DDR4-3200 memory, with two 260-pin SODIMM slot.
Shuttle XPC Nano NC40U supports up to three storage devices, including one M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4 x4 PCIe NVMe SSD, one M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 3 x4 SATA SSD and a 2.5-inch hard drive or solid-state drive up to 15 mm in height. The device also comes with a wealth of interfaces, including an HDMI 2.0b interface, one DisplayPort interface, one Gigabit Ethernet interface (Intel I219), one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C interface, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A interfaces, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A interfaces and a DC power input interface.
According to the editor’s understanding, Shuttle said that if HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-C interfaces are used at the same time, NC40U can support the connection of up to three monitors. NC40U also comes with a 65W (19V / 3.42A) power supply, and provides an M.2 2230 E Key slot for wireless network card, and supports wake-on-LAN function.
