I've been using a Kindle for most of my ebook needs for the past ten years. I've been eyeing the Fire tablet for the past few years because it offers more features than the Paperwhite at a more affordable price. Since becoming an Apple user during that time, it’s hard to get over the all-in-one seamless user experience of Apple Books. Now that Apple's Friday Night Baseball is bringing content to Apple Books, is it a good idea to switch from Kindle?

Amazon offers a range of options in its Kindle app. However, some of these products require additional subscriptions. For example, Kindle Unlimited and Prime Reading offer free access to catalogs of e-books and audiobooks after you pay a monthly fee.

There is a separate app available for download for the full Kindle experience. To listen to audiobooks, use Audible; to read and write reviews and create your TBR (To Be Read) bookshelf, use GoodReads.

The user experience between Apple Books and Kindle is something that many people have raised. When using the Kindle app on my iPhone, it's slow and clunky. In the end, the choice is yours. While both options are great, Apple Books offers a smoother user experience on Apple devices. Overall, I think I'll stick with Apple Books and Kindle for now.
