Windows 10 KB5010342 (21H2, 21H1) 发布,包含多个修复

Windows 10 KB5010342 is available in version 21H2, version 21H1, and version 20H2. Microsoft has also released a new update for version 2004, but it requires an Enterprise/Education license. In addition to the Windows update, a direct download link for the Windows 10 KB5010342 offline installer is also online.

KB5010342 is a security-first update, but it does contain non-security fixes, including changes that allow surround audio to work smoothly when playing media content through Microsoft Edge. Since last month's optional update was so large, there are a lot of non-security fixes in this update.

For example, Microsoft fixed an issue that caused Bluetooth devices to stop working when you tried to connect them. As always, Microsoft is pushing updates through Windows Update and Windows Update for Business, and the build numbers are different for all Windows 10 versions.

If you have installed the 21H2 version (i.e. the November 2021 update), you will get Build 19044.1526. For users still running Windows 10 21H2, they will get Build 19043.1526 with the same quality fixes. If you are using 20H2 or earlier, expect the same changes and the build number will be build 19042.1526.

Microsoft has ended support for Windows 10 2004, so unless you own the Enterprise or Education edition of the operating system, you won't get this update. If you are using Windows 11, you will get KB5010386 for your device.

If you check for updates today, you will see the following updates:

Windows 10 Version 21H2 Cumulative Update February 2022 for x64-based Systems (KB5010342)

or

Windows 10 Version 21H1 Cumulative Update February 2022 (KB5010342) for x64-based systems

Similarly, Microsoft is introducing a new feature that provides direct access to Microsoft Edge profiles in News and Interest feeds. You can always manage profiles directly from Edge, but there will be a new shortcut for those who prefer to launch it through News and Interests in Windows 10.

Microsoft is adding a new reminder to Internet Explorer 11 to notify users that it is being retired.

Microsoft has made changes to Windows 10 to resolve printing issues that occur when you use USB printing on version 2004 or later. Another bug where the app stopped working if you were using the Chinese IME to type text has been fixed.

As we mentioned at the beginning, Microsoft has also fixed audio issues in Chromium-based Edge when streaming sites like Netflix. This update includes a fix for an issue that caused a working Bluetooth device to suddenly stop working if it was used with a non-functioning Bluetooth device.

Interestingly, today’s Windows 10 update adds a new feature called “Sync your settings.”

This new feature is currently rolling out in phases and will help users who are migrating to Windows 11. Sync your settings lets you create a backup list of apps linked to your Microsoft account. Once done, you can quickly restore those backed up apps on Windows 11.

Microsoft says it will start enabling this new feature on more devices in the coming weeks.

Other bug fixes/improvements include:

  • Fixed an issue where lsass.exe could stop working and restart the device. This problem occurs if you query the Windows NT Directory Service (NTDS).
  • Fixed an issue where Group Policy Objects (GPOs) could not be applied.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Robocopy from retrying the file copy process.
  • Fixed an issue with Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS).
  • Fixed a memory leak that occurred when calling WinVerifyTrust().
