Microsoft reminds everyone that it is committed to resolving Windows 11 app issues with App Assure

Microsoft issued a reminder a few days ago about its App Assure program on Windows 11. The App Assure program is basically a compatibility assistance program for Microsoft customers that helps resolve app compatibility bugs and issues. This is accomplished by working with Microsoft's team of App Assure engineers and sometimes involving app developers. As Microsoft defines it, it's a "free FastTrack benefit" program.

Here’s the full announcement:

Whether you’re a large or small enterprise, App Assure can provide app compatibility assistance and help you confidently upgrade your devices to Windows 11. As part of Microsoft's commitment to app compatibility, the goal is for all of your apps to work without changes after you upgrade to Windows 11. However, if you do encounter a compatibility issue on Windows 11, App Assure engineers will work with you to help resolve the issue and work with the engineering team to find and fix the root cause.

Microsoft first launched App Assure for Windows 11 last October, when the operating system began rolling out to the public. And, this reminder may be a result of Windows 11 now entering the next phase (version 22H2), which we have seen a lot of changes in recent Windows 11 Dev Channel builds, including the latest version 22567 released yesterday.
