Like the new 24-inch iMac and new MacBook Pro, one of the biggest changes to the 2022 MacBook Air is expected to be its design. The new MacBook Air will feature a flat-edged design, which specifically means the end of the MacBook Air's iconic tapered body.

Apple may drop the "MacBook Air" brand, but there's no guarantee. Instead, the machine might be simply called a "MacBook."
