Changes and Improvements

[General]

  • Thanks to everyone on our first exploration of Windows Insiders who give us feedback when it comes to lightweight interactive content on your desktop! Starting with this week's flight, we're ending this initial exploration, so if you received this experience, it will be deleted the next time you reboot.
  • As we describe in our blog post here, Windows Insiders using the Dev Channel may try out new ideas, longer lead features, and experiences designed to help prove concepts. Starting with this release, some devices will receive different visual treatment of search on the taskbar. We'd love to learn from your feedback on this, so if you receive this experiment, please use the Feedback Center to provide feedback. NOTE: A reboot is required after updating to this build to trigger this experience, but please note that not all Windows Insiders will have this experience enabled even after a reboot.
