Apple is developing a number of new products that will be launched this fall, which will be the "widest range" of new devices launched in Apple's history.

Apple prepares widest range of new hardware products in history for fall
Apple is developing four new iPhones (iPhone 14, ‌iPhone 14‌ Max, iPhone 14 Pro and ‌iPhone 14‌ Max), an updated low-end MacBook Pro, an updated large-screen iMac, a new Mac Pro, redesigned MacBook Air, second-generation AirPods Pro, three Apple Watch models (8 Series, SE and Rugged), low-end iPad and new iPad Pro models.

Most new products are expected to be launched in the fall, but the iMac may be launched earlier. Apple plans to hold a spring event in March or April, where it will unveil a 5G iPhone SE, an updated iPad Air with an A15 chip, and perhaps at least one Mac.

Apple may use the spring event to bring the M1 Pro chip to another Mac, whether it's a higher-end ‌iMac‌ or Mac mini, but most Macs will be updated, including new versions of the Mac Pro and full MacBook Air overhaul, unlikely to happen before fall.

The iPad Pro will feature an M2 chip and wireless charging, making it a candidate for a fall release rather than a spring release. Apple did file regulatory filings for nine new iPads and three new iPhone models, so there may be more than one updated iPad at the spring event.

Apple is also planning to launch its AR/VR headset in 2022, but rumors suggest the device's debut may have been delayed to 2023 as there are still some issues that need to be ironed out.
