Microsoft strengthens Windows 11 security with Pluton technology
Lenovo ThinkPad X13s uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 to protect users from attacks.

Cybercriminals are constantly devising new strategies to penetrate security defenses, making security wars ever more complex. To answer this question, Microsoft teamed up with Qualcomm. With the two companies working together, Microsoft believes its latest Windows 11 operating system can do more than just protect itself from attackers.

The latest product from the aforementioned collaboration is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 included in the Lenovo ThinkPad X13s. According to Microsoft, it is "the first Windows ARM platform based on the Microsoft Pluton security architecture." It can securely store sensitive data through hardware integrated into the device's CPU chip, which will make it difficult for hackers to access any device, even if they have a physical device.

“Windows 11 PCs built on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 computing platform equipped with the Qualcomm Secure Processing Unit will take advantage of the advanced hardware capabilities of Microsoft Pluton and Pointer Authentication Code (PAC),” Enterprise and Operating Systems Security Director David Weston, wrote in a Windows Blog post. “Pluton will leverage advanced hardware capabilities while PAC’s built-in security countermeasures protect against common attack patterns to help customers strengthen their device security posture.” Windows 11 PC brings many benefits to users. It includes security updates delivered to Pluton from the cloud, resistance to physical attacks, and best-in-class security built on methods and technologies used in Xbox and Azure Sphere.

mPDF is a PHP library that can generate PDF files from UTF-8 encoded HTML. The original author, Ian Back, wrote mPDF to output PDF files "on the fly" from his website and handle different languages. It is slower than original scripts like HTML2FPDF and produces larger files when using Unicode fonts, but supports CSS styles etc. and has a lot of enhancements. Supports almost all languages, including RTL (Arabic and Hebrew) and CJK (Chinese, Japanese and Korean). Supports nested block-level elements (such as P, DIV),

SecLists is the ultimate security tester's companion. It is a collection of various types of lists that are frequently used during security assessments, all in one place. SecLists helps make security testing more efficient and productive by conveniently providing all the lists a security tester might need. List types include usernames, passwords, URLs, fuzzing payloads, sensitive data patterns, web shells, and more. The tester can simply pull this repository onto a new test machine and he will have access to every type of list he needs.
