What is feathering?
Feathering is to adjust the blur degree and range of the selected part of the picture. The larger the feather value, the wider the blur range, which means the softer the color gradient. The smaller the feather value, the narrower the blur range. The feathered areas are more natural and don’t feel like there are too many traces of PS.
Function:
Feathering is to blur the connection between the inside and outside of the selection, acting as a gradient, thereby achieving a natural connection effect.
