One time, when using notepad to open a file of several hundred megabytes, notepad suddenly crashed, and part of the content of another document edited by notepad was not saved. So, open notepad Settings->Preferences->Backup and find the regular backup in C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Notepad \backup\

When I opened the changed folder, I found a file with the same name as the previously edited file but with a time suffix added. When I opened it, I found that this file did contain most of the content that had not been saved in time.
