Delete Snapshots and Automatic Snapshot Policy

When you no longer need a snapshot or the number of snapshots exceeds the quota, you need to delete some snapshots to free up space.

Note

After a snapshot is deleted, it cannot be restored by any method. Please proceed with caution.

If the snapshot is used to create a custom image, you need to delete the associated image before deleting it.

Delete snapshot

Log in to the cloud server management console.

Click Snapshots and Mirroring > Snapshot List in the left navigation. Then select a region to see all snapshots in that region.

Select the snapshot to be deleted, you can select multiple times.

Select to delete the snapshot. Click OK in the prompt dialog box.

Delete snapshot policy

Log in to the cloud server management console.

Click Snapshots and Mirroring > Automatic Snapshot Policy in the left navigation. Then select a region to see all snapshots in that region.

Determine the automatic snapshot policy that needs to be deleted, and click Delete Policy.

Click OK in the prompt dialog box to complete the deletion.
