CSS :active selector

Definition and usage

 :active selector is used to select active links.

When you click on a link, it becomes active.

Tip: Please use the :link selector to style links to unvisited pages, :visited to style links to visited pages, and the :hover selector to set the mouse pointer to float to the link. Last style.

Example 1 Select unvisited, visited, floating and active links and set their styles:

a:link{color:blue;}
a:visited{color:blue;}
a:hover{color:red;}
a:active{color:yellow;}
