I am engaged in Linux driver development. Now we need to realize the function of transmitting video data (omnidirectional antenna) over a long distance (about 1km) via wifi between the two ends. The platform currently used is Atheros AR9342. I found some information on the Internet about disabling the CSMA function of 802.11 and switching to TDMA transmission to achieve long-distance transmission. I modified the mac layer according to the method inside. One of them disables waiting for a response when sending. After adding it, it will cause problems with data transmission (obvious screen blur can be seen when transmitting video data). There is currently no good way to solve this problem, so I am posting an essay here in the hope that friends with similar experience can discuss it together. Thanks
