What are php arithmetic operators?

IntroductionArithmetic operatorsBefore, let’s take a look at what operators are. Operators are used to perform program code operations and are commonly used to operate on variables, constants or data. The notation for a calculation, which is a specified operation performed on a value or set of values. PHP operators: arithmetic operators, string operators, assignment operators, bitwise operators, logical operators, comparison operators, increment or decrement operators, error control operators. We will explain them to you separately later. Let's first explain the arithmetic operators in PHP operators.

Introduction to various symbols of arithmetic operators:

Arithmetic operators are symbols that handle arithmetic operations. The most commonly used arithmetic operators are used in number processing. The commonly used arithmetic operators are as follows:

##                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  With with with with with with #Additional operationsSubtraction operation$a-$b               Multiplication operation$a*$b               Division operation$a/$b                                                                                                                                                                                                            %Remainder operation $a%$b#Increment operation$a++,++$a##                                                                              $a--,--$a
$a+$b

/

PS: Use % in the arithmetic operator to find the remainder. If the dividend ($a) is a negative number, the result obtained is also a negative value.

What I want to talk about here are the last two increment/decrement operators, which mainly operate on a single variable.

There are two ways to use the increment/decrement operator:

The first one: first increase or decrease the variable by 1, and then assign the value to the original variable. , called the prefixed increment/decrement operator.

The second type is to put the operator after the variable, first return the current value of the variable, and then increase or decrease the current value of the variable by one. We call it the postincrement/decrement operator

Arithmetic operator usage examples

The following examples use several operators in the above table to perform calculations. The code is as follows:

<?php
$a = 8;
$b = 2;
$c = 3;
echo $a+$b."<br>\n";
echo $a-$b."<br>\n";
echo $a*$b."<br>\n";
echo $a/$b."<br>\n";
echo $a%$c."<br>\n";
$a++;
echo $a."<br>\n";
++$a;
echo $a."<br>\n";
$c--;
echo $c;
?>

The running result is as shown below

The security of PHP sessions can be achieved through the following measures: 1. Use session_regenerate_id() to regenerate the session ID when the user logs in or is an important operation. 2. Encrypt the transmission session ID through the HTTPS protocol. 3. Use session_save_path() to specify the secure directory to store session data and set permissions correctly.

The steps to build an efficient shopping cart system using sessions include: 1) Understand the definition and function of the session. The session is a server-side storage mechanism used to maintain user status across requests; 2) Implement basic session management, such as adding products to the shopping cart; 3) Expand to advanced usage, supporting product quantity management and deletion; 4) Optimize performance and security, by persisting session data and using secure session identifiers.
