Many people like to use photoshop, and I also like it very much, especially because PS can create some more realistic effects that are fake and real. Today I will introduce to you how to create a very realistic paper crease effect in PS, let’s take a look.
Final rendering:
1. First, open PS and create a new canvas, not too big.
#2. Create a new layer and fill it with a color. Finally, use a slightly darker color to better see the effect. (In fact, you can also operate directly on the background layer, but the editor recommends that you develop a backup habit to avoid making mistakes and having to start over from scratch)
3. Hypothesis Editor I want to create the effect of folding the paper twice. We bring up the ruler, create a new guide line on half of the paper, and use the marquee tool to select half of the paper. (You can also estimate about half the distance by yourself)
#4. Next, right-click on the selection, select Feather, and set the appropriate Feather value (1~3)
5. Select the dodge tool, set the hardness to 0, and adjust other parameters by yourself, please refer to the picture below.
#6. Click on one end of the selection, then hold down the shift key and click on the other end, and a dodge line will appear. Change the dodge tool to the burn tool (the exposure of the burn tool can be lowered, you can see the effect adjustment for details), and repeat the above operations.
#7. Similarly, we also perform the above operations in the vertical direction. Finally, cancel the selection and reference lines to complete.
The above is an introduction to how to create a very realistic paper crease effect in PS. The operation is very simple. You can just follow the steps above. I hope it can be helpful to everyone. !
