Install Django
https://www.djangoproject.com/download/ Official download Django-1.5.5.tar.gz
1, After decompression (my directory is D:\myapp\Django-1.5.5)
2, run the DOS command to the newly decompressed Django-1.5.5 directory and execute the command python setup.py install. The result is as shown below:
Note: The Django installation command actually copies Django to the local Python installation directory D:\Python27\Lib\site-packages.
Test Django installation
# vim: set fileencoding=utf-8 :#Test Django installation import djangoprint django.VERSION
The following output is successful:
Start a project
1. Use the DOS command to go to a certain directory (where you want to create the project, such as: E:\workspace\pythonworkspace).
2, django-admin.py startproject MyDjangoSite (MyDjangoSite is your project name)
Special instructions: 1. You must add the value to D:\Python27\Lib\site-packages\django\bin before executing this command Under the environment variable path.
2. The default opening program of the python folder is python.exe. Otherwise, the django-admin.py file will be opened after executing the program. (After looking for this problem for a long time, I discovered that the vim I used opens python files by default, resulting in no file directory being generated in that directory after executing the create project command)
3, file description:
manage.py: a A command line tool that allows you to interact with the Django project in a variety of ways. Type python manage.py help and see what it does. You should not need to edit this file; generating it in this directory is purely for convenience. __init__.py: Let Python treat this directory as the files required for a development package (i.e. a set of modules). This is an empty file, generally you don't need to modify it. settings.py : Settings or configuration for this Django project. Review and understand the types of settings available in this file and their default values. urls.py: URL settings for Django projects. Think of it as the directory for your Django website. Currently, it is empty.
wsgi.py: An entry-point for WSGI-compatible webservers to serve your project.See How to deploy with WSGI for more details.

Running development server tests
The Django development service is a built-in, lightweight web service available during development. We provide this server to allow you to quickly develop your site, which means there is no need to configure a production-grade web server (such as Apache) before you are ready to release the product. The development server monitors your code and loads it automatically so you can easily modify your code without restarting the service.
The DOS command goes to the newly created project and executes python manage.py runserver, as shown below:
