PHP extension—SOAP

1. Overview and installation

SOAP extension can be used to write SOAP servers and clients, supporting a subset of SOAP 1.1, SOAP 1.2 and WSDL 1.1 specifications.

This extension requires the libxml PHP extension. This means that --enable-libxml needs to be used, although this will be done implicitly since libxml is enabled by default.

To enable SOAP support, add --enable-soap when configuring PHP.
