1. Modify the hosts file: /etx/hosts

127.0.0.1 xxx.yyy.zzz

2. Enter the lampp/etc directory.

sudo gedit httpd.conf

Search for "Include conf/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf", make sure there is no # The comment symbol

searches for ""

becomes:

# AllowOverride none
# Require all denied
Order allow, deny
Allow from all

This step is not processed. The custom directory generated later, visit xxx.yyy.zzz, is likely to be 403. Unless your directory is in /lampp/htdocs.

3. Go to lampp/etc/extra:

sudo gedit httpd-vhosts.conf

1. Comment out the unused VirtualHost

2. Add the following

NameVirtualHost *:80
DocumentRoot "/home/user/php/yyy"
ServerName xxx.yyy.zzz

/home/user/php/yyy">
#Options FollowSymLinks W#Allowoverride none
order Deny, allow
alow from all
& lt;/directory & gt;
& lt; virtualhost *: 80 & gt; s/"erSeervername localhost
& lt;/virtualhost & gt;
