Download and install the CodeIgniter framework, codeigniter framework
CodeIgniter is a set of application development frameworks and toolkits for PHP website developers. When I first learned Php, I searched a lot of PHP frameworks online and finally chose CodeIgniter. The following introduces to coders how to download and install the CodeIgniter framework.
Installation environment: php5 mysql6.5 iis7
My computer is used for office work and writing documents. It is a win7 system. I don’t want to change the system, so I installed the iis7 that comes with win7.
php download is the latest php-5.3.28-nts-Win32-VC9-x86
mysql is also downloaded the latest.
Download address:
php:http://windows.php.net/downloads/releases/
mysql:http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/
CodeIgniter:http://codeigniter.org.cn/
Of course, I am configuring it in a windows environment, so I need to download the relevant version of the software under windows. If it is Linux, etc., I need to download the software supported by the system.
Okay, without further ado, let’s start the installation and explore step by step after installation. First of all, I am a newbie, so please correct me if I am wrong in many things. I mainly work in non-IT now and I don’t update often. I occasionally take a break and read a book.
Step one: Download codeigniter, which is a compressed package. After decompression, it looks like this:
There are mainly these 3 files. The application folder is the application folder, which mainly contains MVC-related M-model folders,
V-view folder, C-controller folder, and some configuration files, which will be discussed later.
The system file is the system folder and the core file of CI (CodeIgniter).
user_guide is the offline user help document for easy query. But they are all in English. If your English is not good, you should go to Baidu and download a Chinese document. My study mainly relies on help documents. The help documentation is a good thing. First of all, I chose this framework because its detailed help documentation makes it easy to learn.
The second step: is also a more critical step. Place this folder in the root directory of the website. A lot of online information only talks about the root directory. Newbies like me don't even know the root directory.
Now I will tell you about the root directory. I installed iis, so the root directory refers to the installation directory of iis. For other web servers, the root directory refers to the installation directory of the web server. As shown below: Open iis, right-click, browse, and the root directory will be opened; (I don’t know how to use screenshot software, so I will use a big picture for now, and try to learn how to take screenshots next time)
Step 3: This is the crucial step, it is destined to fail.
Copy the downloaded file to this so-called root directory; I changed the name of this folder to php, mainly for simplicity, because the access address needs to be configured. It is convenient to enter the address.
Step 4: The most important thing is configuration
Open the application/config/config.php file. Note that .php files can be opened with various editors such as Notepad and Notpad, which is very convenient. Just configure and save.
Mainly configure these two places: Mark 1 configures the URL of the website you want to visit. What I configured is http://localhost/php, localhost refers to local. It can also be written as http://127.0.0.1/php. If you have a server, then you need to write the domain name of your server. /php is the folder of CodeIgniter that I just copied and downloaded. I changed the folder name to php for easy access. php is shorter than CodeIgniter.
Mark 2 index.php is configured after downloading. If it is not configured, you can configure it as index.php, which means that if you enter http://127.0.0.1/php, the index.php file will be automatically opened.
The fifth step is to configure the server and database. I use mysql
Open the file application/config/database.php
Configure your server’s username, password, database name, etc. As shown below:
This picture does not need to be explained, everyone can understand it, even beginners will know what to fill in when they read English.
Okay, that’s it, it’s over.
Enter http://127.0.0.1/php in the browser to see the welcome interface of index.php.
welcome............

CodeIgniter framework related information:

PHP and Python each have their own advantages, and the choice should be based on project requirements. 1.PHP is suitable for web development, with simple syntax and high execution efficiency. 2. Python is suitable for data science and machine learning, with concise syntax and rich libraries.

PHP is not dying, but constantly adapting and evolving. 1) PHP has undergone multiple version iterations since 1994 to adapt to new technology trends. 2) It is currently widely used in e-commerce, content management systems and other fields. 3) PHP8 introduces JIT compiler and other functions to improve performance and modernization. 4) Use OPcache and follow PSR-12 standards to optimize performance and code quality.

The future of PHP will be achieved by adapting to new technology trends and introducing innovative features: 1) Adapting to cloud computing, containerization and microservice architectures, supporting Docker and Kubernetes; 2) introducing JIT compilers and enumeration types to improve performance and data processing efficiency; 3) Continuously optimize performance and promote best practices.

In PHP, trait is suitable for situations where method reuse is required but not suitable for inheritance. 1) Trait allows multiplexing methods in classes to avoid multiple inheritance complexity. 2) When using trait, you need to pay attention to method conflicts, which can be resolved through the alternative and as keywords. 3) Overuse of trait should be avoided and its single responsibility should be maintained to optimize performance and improve code maintainability.

Dependency Injection Container (DIC) is a tool that manages and provides object dependencies for use in PHP projects. The main benefits of DIC include: 1. Decoupling, making components independent, and the code is easy to maintain and test; 2. Flexibility, easy to replace or modify dependencies; 3. Testability, convenient for injecting mock objects for unit testing.

SplFixedArray is a fixed-size array in PHP, suitable for scenarios where high performance and low memory usage are required. 1) It needs to specify the size when creating to avoid the overhead caused by dynamic adjustment. 2) Based on C language array, directly operates memory and fast access speed. 3) Suitable for large-scale data processing and memory-sensitive environments, but it needs to be used with caution because its size is fixed.

PHP handles file uploads through the $\_FILES variable. The methods to ensure security include: 1. Check upload errors, 2. Verify file type and size, 3. Prevent file overwriting, 4. Move files to a permanent storage location.

In JavaScript, you can use NullCoalescingOperator(??) and NullCoalescingAssignmentOperator(??=). 1.??Returns the first non-null or non-undefined operand. 2.??= Assign the variable to the value of the right operand, but only if the variable is null or undefined. These operators simplify code logic, improve readability and performance.

SecLists
SecLists is the ultimate security tester's companion. It is a collection of various types of lists that are frequently used during security assessments, all in one place. SecLists helps make security testing more efficient and productive by conveniently providing all the lists a security tester might need. List types include usernames, passwords, URLs, fuzzing payloads, sensitive data patterns, web shells, and more. The tester can simply pull this repository onto a new test machine and he will have access to every type of list he needs.
