JavaScript prototypal inheritance constructor inheritance_javascript skills
Last time we talked about "Basic Mechanism of JavaScript Prototypal Inheritance", this article will talk about constructor inheritance in detail.
Start with a simple example and create the People constructor that describes humans:
function People(){
this.race = 'Stupid Human';
}
Then, create the Yellow constructor that describes the yellow race :
function Yellow(name, skin){
this.name = name;
this.skin = skin;
}
To enable Yellow to inherit the human People object, it can be simulated in JavaScript in many ways.
1. Object Masquerading
Object masquerading, simply put, is to use a constructor that defines an abstract class as a regular function to achieve pseudo-inheritance:
function Yellow(name, skin) {
this._extend = People;
this._extend();
delete this._extend; //Delete reference to People
this.name = name;
this.skin = skin;
}
/ /Instantiate yellow1
var yellow1 = new Yellow('Xiao Ming', 'Yellow Skin');
console.log(yellow1.name); //Xiao Ming
console.log(yellow1.race); //Stupid humans
In this code, add the private method _extend for Yellow. Since the function itself only exists in the form of a reference, the People method will be automatically called during execution and Yellow will be passed in. The name parameter of the constructor. The Yellow object's own properties and methods must be defined after the above process is completed and the references to external methods are cleared.
Note: Multiple inheritance can be achieved through object impersonation
2. Call/apply method
It may be simpler to implement inheritance through the call/apply method, without any tedious steps Operation:
function Yellow(name, skin) {
People.apply(this, arguments);
this.name = name;
this.skin = skin;
}
//Instantiate yellow2
var yellow2 = new Yellow(' David', 'dark skin')
console.log(yellow2.name); //David
console.log(yellow2.race); //Stupid human
here is the input of apply arguments array, you can also use new Array or literal array.
3. Prototype Chaining
The first prototype inheritance method is to point the prototype of the object to an instance of the parent class:
Yellow.prototype = new People();
Yellow.prototype.constructor = Yellow; //The initial prototype is completely cleared, so it is best to reset the constructor
var yellow3 = new Yellow('小王', '黄 Skin');
console.log(yellow3.race); // Stupid humans
The above code can be understood in reverse, the yellow3 instance itself cannot find the race attribute, and the race attribute on its prototype happens to be the race attribute of the instance of the People object.
If for the People object, its properties are written in the prototype, there is no need to instantiate, just point the prototype property of Yellow to the prototype property of People:
function People(){};
People.prototype.race = 'Stupid Humans';
Yellow.prototype = People.prototype;
Yellow.prototype.constructor = Yellow;
This does not perform instantiation operations, but only changes the pointer, which is very environmentally friendly. However, due to the reference type relationship, Yellow and People point to the same prototype object, which means that the modification to Yellow.prototype.constructor actually destroys the prototype object of People.
In this case, you can use an empty relay object to bypass the prototype of the parent class:
var F = function(){};
F.prototype = People.prototype;
Yellow.prototype = new F();
Yellow.prototype.constructor = Yellow;

Different JavaScript engines have different effects when parsing and executing JavaScript code, because the implementation principles and optimization strategies of each engine differ. 1. Lexical analysis: convert source code into lexical unit. 2. Grammar analysis: Generate an abstract syntax tree. 3. Optimization and compilation: Generate machine code through the JIT compiler. 4. Execute: Run the machine code. V8 engine optimizes through instant compilation and hidden class, SpiderMonkey uses a type inference system, resulting in different performance performance on the same code.

JavaScript's applications in the real world include server-side programming, mobile application development and Internet of Things control: 1. Server-side programming is realized through Node.js, suitable for high concurrent request processing. 2. Mobile application development is carried out through ReactNative and supports cross-platform deployment. 3. Used for IoT device control through Johnny-Five library, suitable for hardware interaction.

JavaScript is the core language of modern web development and is widely used for its diversity and flexibility. 1) Front-end development: build dynamic web pages and single-page applications through DOM operations and modern frameworks (such as React, Vue.js, Angular). 2) Server-side development: Node.js uses a non-blocking I/O model to handle high concurrency and real-time applications. 3) Mobile and desktop application development: cross-platform development is realized through ReactNative and Electron to improve development efficiency.

The latest trends in JavaScript include the rise of TypeScript, the popularity of modern frameworks and libraries, and the application of WebAssembly. Future prospects cover more powerful type systems, the development of server-side JavaScript, the expansion of artificial intelligence and machine learning, and the potential of IoT and edge computing.

JavaScript is the cornerstone of modern web development, and its main functions include event-driven programming, dynamic content generation and asynchronous programming. 1) Event-driven programming allows web pages to change dynamically according to user operations. 2) Dynamic content generation allows page content to be adjusted according to conditions. 3) Asynchronous programming ensures that the user interface is not blocked. JavaScript is widely used in web interaction, single-page application and server-side development, greatly improving the flexibility of user experience and cross-platform development.

Python is more suitable for data science and machine learning, while JavaScript is more suitable for front-end and full-stack development. 1. Python is known for its concise syntax and rich library ecosystem, and is suitable for data analysis and web development. 2. JavaScript is the core of front-end development. Node.js supports server-side programming and is suitable for full-stack development.
