Sewer Town – Center: A Comprehensive Guide to Area 10

Sewer Town – Center is the tenth area in the game. While the main path is relatively short, it's crucial as it leads to the hidden Courtyard of the Tree, required for two game endings and the completion of Millaire's questline.

Sewer Town – Center

Central Station

Begin by taking the first elevator and bypassing two Sewer Cleaner enemies. Before entering the next subway car, check the left side (with the subway car door to your right) for a vending machine.

• Headwear: Twisted Braid & Long Hair – Both available for 5000 Crystals from Opossum's Vending Machine.
• Key Item: Soil: Subway Station – Located near poison-spitting human enemies after dropping into a hole. Return it to Delpha (at the Arboretum if you're following the walkthrough) and use Purified Soil at a Branch to increase Life Dew charges. Giving Delpha all Soil Samples earns you the Gardener achievement/trophy.

Two paths diverge here. The path towards Sewer Cleaners and Drones continues the main storyline, but prioritize the subway car on the opposite side to access the hidden area.

Underground Shaft

This large shaft requires careful navigation across platforms. Be mindful of fall damage.

• Item: Alcohol – Found in a doorway accessible by jumping across beams after dropping from the Branch to the first platform, then dropping left to another set of beams.

• Lost Blader #6 & The End of the Lost Ones Achievement/Trophy: Located on a platform above the Branch (reached by elevator), defeating this final Lost Blader unlocks the achievement/trophy.

• Weapon: Blader Longsword – Obtained after defeating the Lost Blader.
• Key Item: Dew Essence – Found after defeating a Butterfly enemy on a lower central platform (reached by dropping down the tube, sticking to the right-side beams).

• Item: Sacred Blood Crystal – Located in the large room at the lowest level, to the left before the next Branch.

Gate of the Tree

• Main Seal: Seal of the Tree – Interact with the Memory next to the Branch.

• NPC: Millaire – Show her the Seal at the Temporary Campsite, then return to the Gate of the Tree to have her open the door, unlocking the Brilliance of the Tree trophy/achievement. Millaire joins the boss fight. Millaire questline #5/6
• Boss: Guardians of the Tree
• Trophy/Achievement: Guardians of the Tree
• Nucleus: Guardian’s Nucleus – Obtained after defeating the boss.
• Weapon: Wilted Foliage – Purchase from Assis using Guardian’s Nucleus 8000 Crystals.

Sewer Town – Courtyard of the Tree

Central Garden

After interacting with the Branch, ascend the stairs and speak with Charon.

• Normal Seal: Gush – Found in the mud behind Charon.

• Headwear/Armor: Guardian Helmet/Guardian Armor – Located on an empty pillar about a quarter of the way around the circular path (counterclockwise from the Branch).

A glowing spot on a platform (reached via stairs) transports you to a hidden area in Sewer Town – Southwest.

• Normal Seal: Collapse – Found on the ground in the room with Void enemies (follow the left tunnel).

• Weapon: Blader Swords – Located in the next room after dropping through tubes.

• NPC: Millaire – Now at a new location in the Temporary Campsite for the remainder of the game. Millaire questline #7

Return to Sewer Town – Center > Central Station to continue to the next main area via the hallway patrolled by drones and Sewer Cleaners.
