Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 The Stalker Walkthrough

The Stalker is a side task in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Stalker side task.

• Starting Location: Kuttenberg Region > Sigismund’s Camp
• Quest Giver: Katherine
• Requirement: Only available during Main Quest 22: The Lion’s Den, while examining Chertan’s body in the infirmary tent must say “A girl from the baths will help”, then you get the optional objective “Ask Katherine for help with the guard”. Doing the optional objective starts this side task.
• Reward: Reputation gained with Katherine
• Quest Type: Task
• Quest Description: Katherine is being stalked by one of Sigismund’s soldiers at night. Henry agrees to help her, in exchange she’ll help distract the guard at Musa’s tent.

Objectives:

1. Find out who’s stalking Katherine / Wait for the Peeping Tom in the bathhouse (Optional)
2. See to it that Chakan leaves Katherine in peace / Beat up Chakan
3. Tell Katherine what happened with Chakan

Starting Location: The Stalker

The Stalker is a highly missable side task! It’s only available during Main Quest 22: The Lion’s Den. After completing main objective “Search the spot where Chertan was stabbed” you’ll go to the infirmary tent and discover Chertan has died. There you talk to 3 guys: Grozav, Ditrich, Musa. During this dialogue you must say “A girl from the baths will help“.

This triggers the optional main objective “Ask Katherine for help with the guard”. You then go talk to Katherine at the baths of Sigismund’s camp (inside the camp near the north entrance). She’s only there during this main quest. When you ask her for help, she wants help with catching a man that stalks her at night. This starts Side Task: The Stalker.

Find out who’s stalking Katherine / Wait for the Peeping Tom in the bathhouse (Optional)

The easiest way to solve this is to wait outside Katherine’s tent. Between 2:00AM – 3:00AM a man named Chakan will arrive outside her tent and whispers at her. He’s dressed in red clothes. You can skip time to 2:00AM and then wait there. DON’T stand inside Katherine’s tent! The guy runs away when he sees you. You have to stay further away from the tent so he doesn’t get spooked.

When Chakan appears, approach from behind and talk to him. If he sees you, he starts running and you must catch up to him to talk.

Say “Leave Katherine alone!“. Then you can win a skill check, or pay him, or fight him. Because he speaks a different language he won’t understand what you’re saying. So the best way to make him understand is to let your fists do the talking. Say “If you don’t leave her alone, I’ll smash your head in!“, if it fails he’ll attack you.

See to it that Chakan leaves Katherine in peace / Beat up Chakan

If Chakan starts fistfighting you, beat him up until he surrenders. DON’T draw your weapon, if you do he’ll draw his weapon too and you don’t want to kill the guy. He has a lot of health and the fistfight will go on for a few minutes. The good thing is you gain a bunch of Strength and Agility XP from this, so it’s time well spent.

Remember: when green shield icon appears, press / to counter. Let your stamina recharge, then throw combos at him, eventually some hits will land. The more damage he takes, the lower his stamina gets, and the easier it’ll be to hit him. After dealing enough damage he surrenders.

Tell Katherine what happened with Chakan

Return to Katherine, say “About Chakan”. You’ll gain reputation. You can then talk to her again and she’ll agree to distract the guard for Main Quest 22: The Lion’s Den.
