Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 The Lost Sheep Walkthrough

The Lost Sheep is a side task in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Lost Sheep side task.

• Starting Location: Trosky Region > Wilderness
• Quest Giver: Shepherd Smoliek (through Herdsboy Siegfried at end of Sheep among Wolves task)
• Requirement: Completed Mutt > Sheep among Wolves
• Reward: Survival XP, Reputation, 11 Groschen, 1 Cheap wine, 1 Weak Marigold decoction, 2 Bandages, 2 Dried apple, 1 Cooked carrot, 1 Die of misfortune
• Quest Type: Task
• Questline: Mutt > Sheep among Wolves > The Lost Sheep > Carrot on a Stick > Hunting the Werewolf
• Quest Description: The wolves scattered the shepherd Smoliek’s sheep and one ran into the forest. The wolves have probably gotten their teeth into her long ago, but it would help Smoliek to have her ear as proof he didn’t sell her.

Objectives:

1. Find Smoliek’s sheep
2. Cut off the sheep’s ear
3. Return to Smoliek

Starting Location: The Lost Sheep

The task will be marked automatically after completing Sheep among Wolves task. The quest marker leads you to Shepherd Smoliek southwest of Tachov. Talk to him and say “Siegfried sent me” > “I’ll help you”.

You can only talk to him about it after completing Sheep among Wolves.

Find Smoliek’s sheep

Smoliek is another shepherd with wolf problems. Go down the path into the woods west of Smoliek. You find a group of wolves and the dead sheep in the middle of the search area on a hill, exactly where the “A” letter is on the map.

Cut off the sheep’s ear

You can quickly rush in and loot the sheep ear from the dead sheep on the ground. No need to butcher the sheep as it’s already dead. You don’t need to fight the wolves at all, can run away after looting the ear (recommended for Lent trophy/achievement).

Return to Smoliek

Go back to Shepherd Smoliek and give him the sheep ear.

He rewards you with Survival XP, Reputation, 11 Groschen, 1 Cheap wine, 1 Weak Marigold decoction, 2 Bandages, 2 Dried apple, 1 Cooked carrot, 1 Die of misfortune.

Afterward you can continue the questline with Carrot on a Stick task.
