DOOM: The Dark Ages and Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo's day-one Game Pass releases join last week's Revenge of the Savage Planet, and offer two wildly different options. DOOM is as violent as expected from the legendary series, with a notable focus on melee combat this time around. Kulebra is comparatively tame but still has an acute focus on death, with players working to break souls in limbo free from cycles of emotional trauma so they can move on in the afterlife.

There has been a blitz of new Game Pass day-one games this year, and more are likely to be revealed next month when Microsoft hosts its annual Xbox Games Showcase in June.
