Finding the mine for Demineur in Flying Waters in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a small side activity you can do that will reward you with a new weapon, which is why it's worth doing.

To get yourself this new weapon you must first find Demineur (a Nevron) in the Flying Waters area of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, then find the mine balloon they're missing and give it back to them (while hoping they won't detonate you.) This guide may contain spoilers.

To find the Flying Waters Demineur mine you must first find Demineur as their missing mine is near them.

From Noco's Hut Expedition Flag (where you found Maelle), keep following the path forwards until you come to a large open area with enemies. In this area, if you head left, you'll find a tunnel with a Nevron operating the forge in it - but don't go in here.

Instead, to find Demineur explore the right side of this large area and you should find a small tube to the rear.

Go through this tube and you'll find Demineur at the top. Interact with them to find out that this Nevron has lost something important, a mine balloon and against all better judgement you need to find it and give it back. Don't attack them.

To find the mine balloon for the Flying Waters Demineur, stand and face the Nevron then look to your right. You should see a set of platforms that look like stepping stones - jump across these to reach the platform on the other side.

Go to the right side of the platform you're now on and you should be able to see a purple item glowing in the distance.

From here, run and jump across to the small ledge to your right against the column here.

Then, simply follow the path by jumping from platform to platform to reach the purple item. Interact with it and collect it, this is the missing mine for Demineur.

Now all you need to do is return to Demineur. Give Demineur the mine balloon and you'll be rewarded with the Deminerim weapon for Lune.
