Brave Search introduces Rerank feature to let you customize search results! All users can now use the Rerank feature to "promote" (promote ranking) or "remove" (remove) the websites in the search results (remove ranking) or "remove" (remove from the results).
How it works: When Brave searches, a Rerank panel is displayed. Users can like or click on any website in the search results.
Likes will improve the website ranking, and clicking will prevent the website from displaying. You can undo the like or click the action at any time.
It will not affect the algorithm ranking: Brave official said:
- “Using Rerank does not change the domain name presence or ranking for other users or the entire Brave Search – Rerank is only available to users who choose to use this feature and is only effective on their users’ devices.”

Important: This will not affect your SEO strategy. However, this is a nice feature that enables Brave users to personalize search results to their preferences and remove any websites that are considered unreliable or low-quality.
