Locating Molag Bal's Shrine
The shrine is situated in the wilderness west of the Imperial City, southeast of Chorrol, and northeast of Skingrad. It lies near Fort Wooden Hand and Gottlesfront Priory. Be prepared for challenging encounters in this remote area.
Obtaining a Lion Pelt
Lion Pelts are a common enemy drop, but for a guaranteed acquisition, undertake the quest "A Rat Problem" within Anvil's Fighter's Guild. This introductory quest involves fighting lions, ensuring a Lion Pelt reward.
Completing Molag Bal's Quest
After fulfilling the prerequisites, interact with the shrine. Molag Bal tasks you with finding Melus Petilius in the nearby village of Brindle Home. You'll receive a cursed mace; your objective is to manipulate Melus into killing you with it.
In Brindle Home, inquire about Melus's whereabouts. Improving villagers' disposition will reveal his location. He visits his wife's grave between 10 AM and 12 noon.
