In Oblivion Remastered, uncover a merchant's shady dealings! Jensine, head of the Society of Concerned Merchants, suspects Thoronir of unfair business practices. He undersells everyone, disrupting the Imperial City market's delicate balance. Jensine hires you to investigate Thoronir's suspiciously cheap inventory.

Visit Thoronir's shop, the Copious Coinpurse. Examine his goods, then inquire about his suppliers. He'll claim his sources are numerous and secretive. Your next objective: follow Thoronir after closing. Unlike other Oblivion Remastered surveillance missions, detection isn't crucial.

Tailing Thoronir

Wait until 8 pm outside the Copious Coinpurse. Thoronir heads south towards the Temple District, praying at the Temple of the One for hours before returning. Instead of going straight back to his shop, he takes a backstreet detour, meeting a mysterious man in a dimly lit yard.

To trigger the next stage, position yourself between Thoronir and his contact. Their conversation (revealing a new shipment) will play out. Your new target: Agarmir.

Follow Agarmir to the Imperial City Palace, then the Talos Plaza District to his home. Wait until daytime and advance time until Agarmir leaves (usually afternoon). Pick his pocket for his key or pick the lock (requires average lockpicking skill).

Enter Agarmir's basement.

You'll find evidence of grave robbing: digging tools and the "Macabre Manifest." Confront Thoronir with this information. He'll ask for your help in ending his dealings with Agarmir, leading you to a graveyard in the Imperial City.

Find Agarmir at the Trentius Family Mausoleum. A fight ensues. Loot the area, including Calliben's Grim Retort (a unique elven mace). Return to Thoronir, who rewards you with the Weatherward Circlet. Finally, report back to Jensine for your gold reward.
