I've played all the "Fleet" series, and "Fleet of the Wild" is probably the one I've played the longest time. It's like a combination of Mad Max and Bomber Squadron, a modular war truck simulation game - yes, it's as chaotic and fun as you can see.

A fun-filled world of sandbox

Best of all, you can build your own combat vehicle from scratch. Install turrets, armor, engines, medical pods – any equipment you need to survive in the wasteland. Building a system may be a bit clumsy at first (it's a hassle to spin parts under layers of layers), but once I get the trick, I can't stop. Every task made me want to try new modifications.

At first, I felt a little weird, with a lot of momentum and a little erratic, but when I changed the default control to WASD, I felt much more comfortable. You're not racing, you're trying to control the chaos while avoiding overturning from the cliff. I've experienced both, more than once.

More challenging team management

The mission is a classic "Cross" style crisis handling. Fire breaks out, attackers boarding, system failures – you have to keep your team alive and keep the vehicle running. Unlike other games, this game gives you more freedom. You can explore, choose battles, and decide how you want to play. I have built slow vehicles with extremely high defense, glass cannons with extremely fast speeds, and even a machine that plays music to boost morale. All of this works and it's very interesting to experiment with.

You feel real tension when an experienced teammate gets injured in battle and you have to try to treat them before the engine explodes. It's both crazy and satisfying, making you unable to help but think about "doing it again."

Excellent game atmosphere

The world is full of details (or as huge as those damn worms), which shows that the game is well made. There is a live band in the fortress. All factions feel unique. The day and night cycle makes the desert look vibrant. The soundtrack is just right, especially when everything is burned and your team members are screaming. It's funny and stylish, and surprisingly vibe.

Final evaluation

"Wild Fleet" feels like Runner Duck Studios incorporates all the successes of "Bombard Squadron" and "Space Fleet" and has added a huge flame engine. It's not perfect (some UI elements still need improvement), but it's the most fun Team game I've ever played. If you like to build, drive, and enjoy struggling to survive while doing both operations at the same time, this game is definitely worth recommending. I will continue to play this game for a while.
