There are various activities scattered around the map of Assassin's Creed Shadows, and you can easily identify them with their orange icon. Most of these activities require you to go to a certain point and start them by either interacting with something or entering a certain spot.
The hidden trails are the only activities that don't ask you to do something specific as you just have to follow a path, which usually leads to another point of interest. The Path of Secrets is one of these hidden trails, and here's how you can beat it.
Path Of Secrets Location
Before you start your journey on the Path of Secrets, you'll first have to find it by heading over to the Yamato province in Assassin's Creed Shadows. You can see the Asuka Rocks Basin in the western part of this province with the Katsuragi area to its northwest.
From the Katsuragi Kakurega in this area, you'll see a small road going in the southwest direction. This road will lead you directly to this path. It's recommended to not try to do this path at night or in the winter season since the trail gets hidden.
You'd also want to embark on these paths with Naoe since they usually have little ropes and small gaps to go through.
How To Beat Path Of Secrets
After you get to the location for the Path of Secrets, you can start your journey on it by going to the broken bridge at its location. Here, you can grapple swing twice to reach the other side of the bridge and continue to the path on the left. If you fall too low, you can raise your height by pressing the Toggle Ascend/Descend button.
Once you go to the left, you'll see a small tree branch on your left. Jump on this and then on the yellow platform on the next tree, where you can again grapple to the next bit. Parkour up the wall in front and you'll find a gap that you can squeeze through beside a lamp.
After getting past this gap, jump on the tree and go all the way across before going up a couple more walls. Keep going up the walls in front of you until you notice another gap on the left side. You won't have to squeeze through this gap, and past it, you can jump down to another tree.
Reach the end of this tree and jump down to the pull to find the final chest outside it on the other side.
Path Of Secrets Rewards
As you reach the correct chest in the Path of Secrets, a distinct audio effect will play out as the chest icon appears on your HUD. Opening this chest will give you Sumire's Hood purple-tier headgear for Naoe, 1,000 EXP, and one Knowledge Point.
You can see the recommended level for the path when you hover over it on the map. You can easily do this even if your level is lower than the recommended. Moreover, if your level gets higher, the path's level will increase with your account, which means that the gear you get at the end will be the same level as your current account level.
