Phase One: A Clash on the Ice

The battle starts on a platform, which the Ice King destroys, leaving only a central section. Follow the paw-print prompts to survive his initial attacks. Transforming into Monkey and Tree forms is key.

On the larger Circular platform, dodge his ice pillars by dashing between them, and jump over his area-of-effect ice attacks. When he stands on his hind legs, revealing his mid-section crest, Zoe (in Tree form) must quickly grapple him to the ground. Mio (in Monkey form) then unleashes a combo. Failure to grapple quickly restarts the attack sequence.

The Ice King counters with molten ice spikes and a charge attack. Dash to avoid these, and watch out for returning ice pillars with icicle projectiles. Another grapple opportunity arises, repeating the previous strategy.
