Debian 13 "Trixie" Installer Alpha 1 Released: A Sneak Peek at the Future of Debian
The Debian project has unveiled the first alpha release of the installer for its upcoming Debian 13 "Trixie" operating system, slated for official launch in July 2025. This alpha release showcases several key improvements, including a brand-new default theme.
Key Features of the Debian 13 Installer Alpha 1:
1. "Ceratopsian" Theme Debuts:
Debian 13 boasts a fresh, community-chosen default theme: "Ceratopsian," designed by Elise Couper. Inspired by Toy Story's Trixie and building upon the "futurePrototype" theme, "Ceratopsian" emerged victorious in a public poll.

mPDF is a PHP library that can generate PDF files from UTF-8 encoded HTML. The original author, Ian Back, wrote mPDF to output PDF files "on the fly" from his website and handle different languages. It is slower than original scripts like HTML2FPDF and produces larger files when using Unicode fonts, but supports CSS styles etc. and has a lot of enhancements. Supports almost all languages, including RTL (Arabic and Hebrew) and CJK (Chinese, Japanese and Korean). Supports nested block-level elements (such as P, DIV),
