Enjoy your smartphone's content on a larger screen! This guide shows you how to effortlessly mirror your Android or Windows 10 Mobile phone screen to a wireless TV, projector, or streaming device using Miracast. We'll cover both Android and Windows 10 Mobile methods.
Method 1: Projecting a Windows 10 Mobile Phone Screen
Miracast simplifies screen projection to PCs, TVs, and projectors. Here's how:
Step 1: Prepare your Windows 10 PC.
Open the Action Center (usually found in the lower-right corner) and select the "Connect" button. The Connect app will open, indicating your PC is ready for wireless connection.
Step 2: Connect from your Windows 10 Mobile Phone.
Swipe down from the top of your phone's screen to open the Action Center, then tap "Connect." Select your PC from the list of available displays.
Method 2: Projecting from an Android Phone
Android devices running Android 4.2 and later generally support Miracast via the built-in Cast feature.
On your Android phone, navigate to Settings > Display > Cast Screen.
Activate "Enable wireless display."
Tip: With wireless display enabled, you can also quickly cast from the Quick Settings menu (swipe down from the top of the screen).
Your PC should appear in the list of available devices. Select it to begin mirroring.
