Android system comes with its own recording app to make it easy to share audio on social media!
Social media platforms are moving from pictures and videos to audio content, as the rise of applications and features such as Clubhouse and Twitter Spaces proves this.
However, to share audio content on traditional platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, it is often necessary to combine it with video. This usually requires certain video editing skills and tools. But now, Android users can easily achieve this using Google's own recording app.
The new features of this app convert audio into perfect social media videos, including sound images and subtitles. How to use it is as follows:
How to make pure audio video on Android
First, make sure your phone has a recording app installed. Pixel devices are installed by default, and other Android phones can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store.
The recording app is easy to operate. Click the big red button at the bottom of the screen to start recording. What’s unique about the app is that it utilizes Google’s machine learning technology to generate recorded text in real time and can be downloaded as TXT files or used as subtitles for social media posts. Although not perfect, the accuracy rate is high under ideal conditions such as low ambient noise, moderate speaking speed and less slang.

Before starting production, please note that the app only supports phone microphone input, so you can only speak directly to the microphone or point the microphone at the speakers of other devices. Please respect others' privacy and do not record and publish their audio (and video) content without the consent of others. In some cases, this is even illegal. Please let others know before recording.
When you are ready, click the red button to start recording, and click again to end recording. The third click can resume recording. Click the "Save" button on the right to complete the recording and return to the main interface.
In the main interface, you can see a list of recordings arranged in chronological order, with the latest recordings on the top. Click the recording you want to open and use the play button at the bottom of the screen to play. If the recording takes more than five minutes, the app will ask you to edit it to less than five minutes before converting it to a video. You can click the scissors icon at the top of the screen for editing and other basic editing operations. After editing is complete, click the menu button (three dots) in the upper right corner of the screen, select "Share" , and then select "Video Clip" . On the next screen, you will see a video preview and some customization options. First, select the layout: Square (suitable for Instagram information flow); vertical screen (suitable for TikTok); horizontal screen (suitable for 16:9 ratio). In the menu at the bottom of the screen, click "Content" to select a simple wave video or a video with subtitles. If the App's AI does not detect any sound, you can only select the waveform format. This is unlikely if your microphone picks up vocals – the technology is good at distinguishing sounds, even the instrumental and vocal parts of the song. Lastly, click "Theme" at the bottom of the screen to change the color of the video element. There are only two options: black background, blue waveform and white text (dark theme); white background, blue waveform and black text (light theme). While there aren't many customization options, it can at least make your video more in line with your grid aesthetics. You can then view the final product and select "Save to Device" or "Share" to other applications. Use the last option to post directly to Instagram (Flows and Stories), TikTok, Slack, Tumblr and other compatible social media platforms that you may have installed on your phone. Please use this feature with caution - it may be the beginning of your success in the ASMR content creation field, or it may be evidence that will lead to your loss. Regardless, you certainly don't have to spend hours choosing the right filter to get valuable likes.
