Unlocking the Seaside Resort Zipline in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

If you’re exploring Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you’ve likely become familiar with Seaside Resort. But did you know there's a zipline hidden away? This guide will show you how to activate it.

The zipline is initially inactive. To unlock it, you must complete the "A Zipline Adventure" quest. Let's break down how to do that.

Unlocking "A Zipline Adventure"

First, ensure you've finished the "Power Up The Gate" quest. You'll also need to boost your friendship level with Pochacco to level four and complete his "Gudetama Snap" quest.

Early in the game, an efficient way to befriend Pochacco is by gifting him Tofu. While Tofu is a One Heart Gift, you can easily acquire it by giving Hello Kitty a gift, such as a readily available pineapple from Seaside Resort.

Pochacco prefers Trophy, Healthy, and Veggie gifts. However, Two Heart Gifts might be difficult to obtain early on.

The Tofu you receive from Hello Kitty can be traded with Pochacco for a Strawberry, which you can then give back to Hello Kitty, creating a gift exchange loop.

Once you reach friendship level four with Pochacco, speak to him to initiate "A Zipline Adventure." He'll then guide you to speak with Chococat near the crafting bench in the eastern part of Seaside Resort. Chococat will provide you with the Sparks Crafting Plans.

Crafting Sparks

To craft Sparks, you'll need three Light Stones each. You obtain Light Stones from Kuromi (usually found in Spooky Swamps). Kuromi appreciates Soda, Fall, and Spooky category gifts. Pumpkins (a One Heart Gift) are easily obtainable from the Pumpkin Patch in Spooky Swamps. Each gift to Kuromi yields two Light Stones. Crafting a Jack-O-Lantern is also an easy way to earn Light Stones.

Completing "A Zipline Adventure"

Craft a Spark using your collected Light Stones and return to Chococat. Chococat and Pochacco will then move to the zipline location. You can find it by going left from the crafting bench, climbing above the Puzzle Room entrance, or by taking the ladder above My Melody's shop and following the path to the right-side ladder.

Interact with the switch near the zipline and use your Spark to repair it. After a short zipline ride, you'll unlock a shortcut to Spooky Swamp. Finally, talk to Pochacco to complete the quest.

Additional Ziplines

Beyond the Seaside Resort zipline, there are two more:

• Spooky Swamp to Gemstone Mountain: Located north of the Ghost Tour Ride fast travel point, this requires two Sparks.
• Gemstone Mountain to Mount Hothead: To the left of the Gemstone Corral fast travel point, connecting to the waterfall west of the Hot Springs fast travel point. This requires three Sparks.
