Warframe: Galvanized Mods And Weapon Arcane Guide

Warframe's Sisters of Parvos update introduced Corpus Liches, new weapons, a Warframe, and enhancements to existing primary and secondary weapons. To aid players in tackling the Steel Path's increased difficulty, Digital Extremes added powerful Galvanized Mods and Arcanes.

Galvanized Mods are amplified versions of existing mods, delivering double the standard effect after a few kills. Arcanes provide significant damage or utility boosts, potentially replacing mods like Serration or Point Blank. This guide explains how to acquire these valuable additions.

What are Galvanized Mods?

Galvanized Mods, introduced in Sisters of Parvos, are significantly enhanced versions of common mods, providing substantial damage increases or quality-of-life improvements. They're available for primary, secondary, and melee weapons.

Each Galvanized Mod has a base effect and an on-kill stack. Kills with the equipped weapon increase stacks, maximizing the mod's potency (roughly 2-3 times stronger than their standard counterparts). Unlike other kill-based mods, Galvanized Mods only lose one stack at a time.

They have the same rarity as Rare Mods and ten ranks. Maxing a Galvanized Mod requires:

• 30,690 Endo
• 1,482,327 Credits

Note: Galvanized Mods don't stack with their standard counterparts (e.g., Barrel Diffusion and Galvanized Diffusion cannot be used simultaneously).

How to Obtain Galvanized Mods

Galvanized Mods are purchased from the Arbitration Honors vendor in any Relay's Arbiters of Hexis syndicate room. Each costs 20 Vitus Essence.

Unlocking Arbitrations

Vitus Essence is earned by surviving and defeating Arbitration Drones in Arbitration missions. These missions unlock after completing all standard Star Chart nodes (Railjack and Steel Path nodes are not required). Acquiring all 12 Galvanized Mods requires 240 Vitus Essence.

Vitus Essence Farming

An efficient strategy is completing four mission rotations (A, A, B, C) before extraction. Each rotation has a 7% chance of yielding three Vitus Essence.

For optimal farming, choose Excavation Arbitrations. Use Warframes like Nekros, Khora, Nova, or Frost to expedite the process. Remember, Arbitration Drones are immune to ability damage.

Resource Boosters significantly increase Vitus Essence drops, and Smeeta Kavats (especially with Tek Enhance) can double your gains.

Primary and Secondary Weapon Arcanes

Sisters of Parvos also introduced powerful Primary and Secondary Arcanes, significantly boosting base damage upon meeting kill conditions. Acolytes in Steel Path missions are an initial source. Later updates (Duviri, 1999) added more Arcanes, extending Arcane capabilities to melee weapons.

How to Obtain Primary and Secondary Arcanes

Many damage-focused Arcanes drop from Acolytes in Steel Path. Acolytes have a 100% Arcane drop rate, but Rank 5 requires 21 of the same Arcane. Additional Arcanes are found in Duviri Circuit, Deimos content, and Warframe 1999 activities.

Weapon Arcane Adapters

Weapon Arcane Adapters (15 Steel Essence each from Teshin) are required to equip Arcanes. They are one-time use.

Unlocking Steel Path

Steel Path is an increased-difficulty mode unlocked by completing the standard Star Chart. Activate it in the Star Chart menu. Enemies are tougher, and resource/Mod drop rates are doubled.

Steel Essence Farming

Steel Path Incursions (five Steel Essence per daily mission) are the most efficient Steel Essence source. Completing all five daily incursions yields 25 Steel Essence. Acolytes in Steel Path endurance missions also drop Steel Essence. Use Khora, Nekros, Smeeta Kavats, and Resource Boosters for optimal farming.
