Aloft: Complete Achievements Guide

There’s plenty to see and do as you take to the skies in Aloft, and while you’ll never run out of things to explore, you might want some directive on the game’s impressive feats. Thankfully, this fun open-world sandbox sailing game currently has 19 achievements on Steam!

Whether it’s for something as simple as sailing your very first island or something markedly more involved like dealing with the legendary Leviathan, you’ll be rewarded with a new achievement on Steam of 19 different tasks in Aloft. In our guide, we’ll help you work out how to trigger each of them.

Aloft is currently in early access, so things may change with the game as time goes on. We'll update our guides as we go, if need be!

Every Steam Achievement In Aloft

Below, you'll find information on each one of the 19 achievements for Aloft on Steam. Since the game is currently in early access, this list may expand as time goes on, but for the moment, we've got everything alphabetized and have included notes and tips on how to get each achievement.

How To Get All Achievements In Aloft

Achievement	Task	Notes
AFKBRB	Lay down for 5 minutes without interruption.	When aiming your cursor directly below your character, you'll have the option to lay down on the ground right where you're standing. Leave your character stationary on the ground for five consecutive minutes.
All Gas, No Brakes	Perform 5 boosts in a row while using the glider.	While gliding through the sky, you'll be able to perform a boost periodically to increase your speed and cover vast expanses that much quicker. When doing this, you'll see a white line in the first half of the meter that shows when you're recharged enough to glide again - glide again when the meter is in the white range, and you'll glide much quicker and further. Do this five times to land this achievement.
Can We Bring it Home? Please?	Save the Leviathan.	TBD
Can't Get Enough of the Fluff!	Pet an animal for 20 consecutive seconds.	After taming an animal with hay or pellet feed, you'll have the opportunity to pet your new, well, pet. Do this interaction for 20 seconds without interruption.
Don't Mind Me... I Just Live Here Now	Set your bed on someone else's home island.	When playing in multiplayer and visiting another person's home island, place a bed on their island.
How About 500 More?	Sail for 500 miles.	After claiming a home island, sail it through the skies for at least 500 miles. This will likely trigger automatically at some point as you play; you're in for a lot of sailing.
Liking My Shinies	Get 4 different trinkets.	Finding different gemstones in locked treasure chests all around islands in Aloft (for which you'll need to find and use hidden keys), you'll be able to use them on the crafting table on your home island to learn new recipes for trinkets. Crafting four separate trinkets will trigger this achievement, so be sure to stop by the crafting table often as you're exploring and finding new resources.
Mad with Power	Have 5 machines working at 300% efficiency on a single network.	TBD
No Rest for the Wicked	Chain 3 combat maneuvers in a row.	As you fight in Aloft, you'll unlock new combat moves - the game shows you a short clip when you do, and you'll have this tutorial logged in your inventory's guide tab. Learn how to do three different maneuvers from this menu, and then perform them in succession when clearing a corrupted planet and fighting the enemies that spawn there.
Now That's Just Mean...	Kill a Coward while it's cowering.	TBD
Ordered One of Each	Build 15 different decoration pieces.	After sketching different decorative ideas in your sketchbook, craft at least 15 of them and place them. It doesn't have to be on your home island, but it's a great way to spruce things up a little!
Should Have Been an Artist	Sketch 25 different building pieces.	While exploring the islands in Aloft, you'll be able to find or make a Sketchbook to bring with you and draw the decorative furniture and art that you see. Do this 25 times.
Somewhat of an Explorer	Explore two new biomes.	As you unlock different sectors of the table map, you'll come across three distinctive biomes on the islands you discover. These are the Emerald Isles, Fallen Heights, and XX, so explore at least one planet in each of these biomes to unlock the achievement.
Walking is Overrated	Glide for 1,000 meters consecutively.	The first time you venture out far enough on your own soaring toward and island you're trying to check out, you'll trigger this achievement automatically.
Wanna Dance?	Use every maneuver to kill enemies.	As you continue to fight enemies on corrupted islands in Aloft, you'll learn new combo moves to use in future battles. After you've learned all combat moves, use each one at least once as you fight your way through corrupted islands.
Welcome to My Crib	Import your home island into a multiplayer game.	When you're playing Aloft with friends, you can choose to join their world or bring your own home island with you into their save. To trigger this achievement, bring your whole home island over into a multiplayer save by
The World Is Your Oyster Now	Sail an island for the first time.	Before you can sail an island, you'll need to claim it as your home island by placing a Home Kite, then add all the necessary sails, lifts, and rudders in accordance with your island's current weight. After everything is all set, interact with the helm and head out!
20,000 Leagues Way Above the Sea	Explore 100 sectors.	You'll likely need to play some multiplayer or start new worlds to get this Aloft achievement - one sector is a single section covered by wood on your table map.
