Can CSS content property insert HTML instead of Text?

However, such an endeavor is met with technical limitations. As per the CSS specification:
"Generated content does not alter the document tree. In particular, it is not fed back to the document language processor (e.g., for reparsing)."
In essence, string values assigned to the content property are treated verbatim, without any interpretation as markup. This limitation applies regardless of the document language being used.
