Canvas Scrolling Issue with White Space at Bottom
When scrolling a canvas placed inside a div, you may encounter an issue where the canvas scrolls beyond its actual content and reveals the container div's background.
Solution:
To prevent this, the canvas should be set as a block element or its vertical alignment within the div should be set to top. By default, canvas is an inline element, similar to an image. This inline behavior can lead to vertical space issues.
Code snippet with fix:
.screen { background: red; height: 100px; width: 300px; overflow: auto; border-radius: 20px; } canvas { display: block; } ::-webkit-scrollbar { width: 0px; height: 0px; }
This code modification forces the canvas to behave as a block element, preventing the whitespace at the bottom and allowing it to scroll properly to the end of its content.
