Rather than sell your current stairs and then have the hassle of rebuilding the new stairs you want from the catalogue, there is a much, much easier way to change your stairs. Here's what you need to know.
How To Easily Change Your Staircase Style
Instead of selling your stairs and then having to rebuild them from scratch, you can simply change their appearance and design in a much easier way. Here's what you need to do.
- Equip the House Flipper tool.
- Go into the House Flipper tool options (where you can switch from Sell Item to Duplicate, Change Style, or Copy Style).
- Got to 'Change Style'.
- Select the stairs you want to change and use the tool to choose 'Edit'.
A new box will pop up where you can change the colour of the stairs, the material, the style of railing, and the colours of the railings. It's a much easier way to give your stairs a glow up with just a few Clicks.
The downside to this is that you can't change the specific type of staircase it is, for example if it's Owl and you want to change to Curiosities, you will have to demolish the existing Owl staircase and build a new Curiosities version.
How To Replace Your Stairs Entirely
If you do want to change your staircase completely, you'll need to use the House Flipper tool to sell the existing staircase. Next, open the catalogue, choose the staircase you like the most, and build your new staircase.
You can follow the steps in the previous section to change the style of your new staircase at any time rather than rebuild from scratch again, providing you're happy with your choice of base staircase.
