Software developer Jarett Dunn, also known as Stacc, has applied to retract his guilty plea in connection with his attack on Solana token launchpad Pump.fun.

Dunn is accused of abusing his position to siphon off an estimated $2 million from the protocol during the attack. He then transferred the tokens to several random, non-consenting addresses.

This move, which some have likened to crypto's Robin Hood, saw several retail traders receive the ill-gotten gains.

Dunn appeared at London's Wood Green Crown Court on Friday, where he was expected to be sentenced for the Pump Fun attack. However, his lawyers withdrew from the case, and Dunn now wishes to retract his guilty plea.

Dunn's change of heart comes as he faces two charges: abuse of position and transferring criminal property. He is scheduled to return to court on May 12.
