Deal | Nikon Z7 II 45.7 MP full-frame camera with 4K 60 fps 10-bit video gets massive $1,000 discount at Amazon, drops below $2,000 mark
In the world of tech, camera gear often stands apart, with new camera bodies and lens updates only being released every three years or so — a fact that makes buying a slightly older camera while it's on special a very valid way to get excellent gear while saving a buck. This is largely the case with the Nikon Z7 II, thanks to a 33% discount across the web.
When the Nikon Z7 II launched back in 2021, it was effectively the brand's flagship mirrorless camera, bringing with it all the new bells and whistles for everything from portrait and landscape photography to videography and sports and wildlife photography. In terms of specifications, the Nikon Z7 II pairs a 45.7 MP full-frame BSI CMOS sensor with dual Expeed 6 processors, making the Z7 II capable of capturing up to 10 fps when saving full-resolution RAW images. The Z7 II also has dual card slots for added redundancy, with one dedicated to CFexpress Type B cards and the other limited to SD cards with UHS-II and SDHC/SDXC ratings.
In DPReview's technical review of the Nikon Z7 II, the publication praised the camera for its sharp images and low noise, even at higher ISO values. The Z7 II also features animal- and eye-autofocus, allowing it to more easily track and capture moving subjects with ease.
The Nikon Z7 II has a 3.6m-dot OLED EVF with 100% frame coverage, and 3.2-inch, 2.1m-dot fully articulating rear display. The camera also has a sensor that will automatically switch from the display to the EVF when you lift it to your eye. In terms of battery life, the Z7 II claims up to 420 shots on a full charge, although video is limited to around 105 minutes.
Speaking of video, although the Nikon Z7 II is more optimised for photography, it is still capable of video recording in 4K at up to 60 fps with a 1.08× crop — although RAW output is limited to external recorders.
Check out the Nikon Z7 II while it's 33% off for a final price of $1,996.95 at Amazon.
