Hinox Guts are one of the rarer enemy drops to get in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. That’s a bit weird considering Hinox are fairly common bosses in the open world. But their Guts can be hard to get when you don’t have a solid method. So, let’s walk through the best way to get some Hinox Guts in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom: How to farm Hinox Guts

Hinox aren’t very hard enemies to fight in Tears of the Kingdom. All you need to do is launch an arrow into their eye to stun them and follow it up with plenty of melee attacks. That means farming them isn’t too annoying.

Unfortunately, Hinox Guts are a fairly rare drop from these guys. Most of the time you’ll find plenty of Hinox Toenails and a Tooth here and there. But depending on the kind of Hinox you fight, Guts may be quite elusive.

Red Hinox are the most common type of these enemies, and while they can drop Guts, it’s rare. Black Hinox have a higher chance to drop Guts, but since they’re tougher to kill they’re harder to grind. So, the best way to farm Hinox Guts is by saving before encountering a Hinox.

That way you can just reload your save if the Guts don’t drop. But once you’ve killed a Hinox in an area, it won’t respawn until the next Blood Moon appears. Luckily, there are plenty of places to find them. Check the map below for some of the easiest spots to find Hinox.

This isn’t the location of every Hinox in Tears of the Kingdom by any means, as there are around 50 Hinox scattered across the map. But this rotation is doable no matter how far into the game you are. Just make sure to save the game before fighting a Hinox so you can try the encounter again. Then you can wait for another Blood Moon to occur before farming them again. Once you have enough, you can start upgrading armor or creating elixirs.
